They offer very few wheels in 17x9, and if they do it is in the wrong bolt pattern. I could get RPF1s, but I don't like them. . . damn me for being picky.

Don't other brands offer wheels that you like in the pattern and size you need?

Yeah, but Enkei makes strong, cheap, and somewhat light wheels. The other companies with similar wheels get very expensive. I could go with Rotas, but their quality seems inconclusive. Some say they last forever, and some say they break when they kit a rock.

Have you looked at Forgeline? They'll make them any way you like.
They'll want a stack of money for them though.

Yeah you see, I don't have a stack of money. I was looking at 1700 or less for wheels. I really want to go cheaper if I can, which is why I was looking at Enkei's.

But they are like 20lbs. I was actually thinking about getting the 57xtremes, which are 19lbs. I might be back to square one if I can't find anything lighter/cheaper. :'(

You and me think alike, I got the pricing from the 57xtremes

If you're going for lowest weight, you can get Koseis at 15.5-16 lbs, which is pretty close to RPFs. If you ran 8" instead of 9", you'd have a lot more options

Yeah it is true an 8" wheel would open up the options, but I want max grip and max style and a 9" wheel is perfect! Although, for 57xtreme price range I could get Weds tc105n which are 15.8lbs for 17x9. So if anything I can go with them. Although, Rotas are still an option. . .

You seem to be getting a little obsessive about these wheels. I am sending a team of "experts" to talk with you. They will be in nice white coats. If they ask you to go somewhere, it is for your own good. :)

I think rotas are ok if you don't have a stupidly small sidewall or stretch, which I'm sure you won't have either. Do you know which rotas in particular?

I was thinking Titans, they weigh 17.8lbs. I could always buy them and see how they all work out.

Yeah, I've read seriously mixed reviews of Rotas. I can understand why you'd be a little gun shy there.

WORD. I am trying to find miata wheels which you might think would be easy but I want a perfect trifecta of CHEAP LIGHT and RETRO.

Enkei sucks ass dude. Their stuff is too specific. I totally would have bought a set for the M3 (and the e39 several years ago) if they made the right size. It's downright frustrating is what it is.

Some days I wish I had a Miata. Your wheels are tiny and so cheap!!! I would check out 949 wheels. They make strong, cheap wheels. They look pretty good and functional as well. For a 15x9 wheel it is about 750 bucks. That is the price of Rotas on my car wheel size!!

I want Nt03s, but they only make 17s in a 5x114 bolt pattern. The only wheel they make that you can buy for any car is RPF1s and I don't want those.

But they look so nice!!! I mean they are 18lbs and around 900 dollars. I really want them. . .
